WE BUILD PARTNERSHIPS
AS DURABLE
AS THE IRON WE SELL.
Grounded In Our Values
Our business is built on relationships, responsiveness, and a commitment to supporting our customers long after the initial sale. We believe trust is earned through reliable equipment, knowledgeable support, and standing behind the products and services we provide.
Our team is made up of industry professionals with real-world experience in aggregate, mining, and material processing operations. Having worked in the environments our customers face every day, we understand the importance of uptime, production targets, and dependable support when challenges arise.
We operate with a simple philosophy: deliver practical solutions, communicate openly, and do what we say we will do. Whether supplying equipment, sourcing critical parts, or responding to a service call, our focus remains the same—helping customers operate more safely, more efficiently, and more profitably.
We are not focused on transactional sales. We are building long-term partnerships with the producers, contractors, and industrial operators who keep Western Canada moving.
THE BEGINNING
Westridge Iron was founded following a strategic departure from the framing industry, launching quarrying operations in Vernon, British Columbia, along Kalamalka Lake between Vernon and Lake Country.
FIRST MOBILE CRUSHING CONTRACT
Westridge Iron expanded beyond rock supply into mobile contract crushing, completing its first crushing project within a residential subdivision in Vernon, British Columbia.
First Owned Crusher & Geographic Expansion
A defining year as Westridge Iron increased operational capacity with the acquisition of its first owned crusher—a Pegson 26×44 track jaw. Operations expanded beyond British Columbia into Alberta.
FIRST CIVIL CONTRACT
Following the 2008 housing downturn, Westridge Iron pivoted into public infrastructure work, securing contracts to supply aggregate for Ministry of Transportation–led civil projects across British Columbia and Alberta.
FIRST QUARRY
To meet growing demand, Westridge Iron acquired two local aggregate assets: Larkin Quarry and Otter Lake Pit in Vernon, British Columbia, marking its transition into vertically integrated operations.
ACQUISITION
Westridge Iron acquired Interior Gravel Products in Oyama, British Columbia—strengthening its footprint across the Okanagan and expanding production capability.
MINE SERVICES
Westridge Iron began serving its first major mining client, providing specialized crushing services that would later evolve into comprehensive mine support operations.
SALE OF A DIVISION
To sharpen strategic focus, Westridge Iron divested its Okanagan pit and quarry operations, concentrating resources on mobile crushing, mine services, and industrial contracting.
A Major Milestone
At CONEXPO 2026, Westridge Iron was officially introduced as Astec's Western Canada dealer, bringing world-class aggregate and mining equipment, parts, and service support to customers throughout the region.
Built for What’s Next
Today, Westridge Iron supports aggregate, mining, and industrial operations across Western Canada with equipment, parts, service, and technology solutions designed to maximize uptime, improve production, and help customers build stronger operations for the future.
